Man threatens two men with folding knife in Siemensstadt

A 22-year-old man allegedly threatened two men with a folding knife in Berlin-Siemensstadt early on 9 January. The two men had previously asked him to turn down his music on an M7 bus. After getting off at the Siemensdamm stop, they encountered each other again on Quellweg, where police said mutual insults initially followed. The 22-year-old allegedly also insulted the two men in a homophobic manner before threatening them with the knife. Officers later encountered him at his home address, and he in turn filed a complaint for insult against the two men. All those involved were released after their identities were established. Berlin state security police are continuing the investigation.
