Taxi driver threatened with knife in Bergisch Gladbach
A 38-year-old man is alleged to have threatened a taxi driver with a knife and stolen his taxi in Bergisch Gladbach on the evening of 18 May. The driver said the man held the knife to his neck in a car park on Hans-Zanders-Straße and demanded his wallet. The driver was able to leave the vehicle, after which the suspect drove away in the taxi. Earlier, the same man is alleged to have slightly injured a 49-year-old woman with a pointed object while trying to obtain her car. Police located the man after a search and provisionally arrested him; he admitted both offences.
