Security employee threatened with knife in Bergheim
Two unknown men fled after a break-in at a school in Bergheim-Quadrath-Ichendorf. At about 3:10 a.m., a 36-year-old security employee saw the men climbing from a ground-floor window of the building on Herbergerstraße, police said.
When the employee ordered the suspects to lie down, both allegedly ran towards him. One man allegedly threatened him with a knife, allowing the accomplice who had been stopped to escape. Both suspects ran towards Bachstraße, and police are searching for them.
