Woman remanded after knife attack on partner
A 37-year-old woman is suspected of attacking her 43-year-old partner with a kitchen knife during an initially verbal argument in their shared home in a district of Barbing on 3 April. The man suffered multiple stab wounds to the upper body and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A neighbour alerted police, and the suspected weapon was secured at the home. A judge ordered the suspect into pre-trial detention the following day. Criminal police are investigating, and the motive remains unclear.
