Man arrested after shoplifting incident involving knife in Mühlacker
A 22-year-old man allegedly picked up a knife after a shoplifting incident at a supermarket on Bahnhofstraße in Mühlacker on 14 February. Two people had spoken to him shortly before 3:45 p.m. as he left the shop because he was suspected of putting food into a backpack without paying. When further passers-by arrived, he dropped the knife after being told to do so and left the shop. Passers-by later held him at a bus stop until police arrived. The suspect was provisionally arrested and a judge ordered pre-trial detention the following day.
