Police officer injured in knife attack in Bad Sachsa
A 29-year-old man allegedly attacked a police officer with a knife and lightly injured him in the arm at Bad Sachsa railway station. Officers had located the wanted man on the station grounds during a search operation. When an officer addressed him from a patrol car and told him to stop, the man allegedly approached the vehicle and made a stabbing movement with the knife. The injured officer initially restrained the attacker, who was then arrested without resistance. Police said the suspect is in a specialist clinic, and the investigation is continuing.
