Man threatens opponent with machete in Bad Langensalza

Following an altercation involving several people in Bad Langensalza, a 22-year-old allegedly threatened a 30-year-old man with a machete. The two men had first exchanged words and assaulted each other outside a shop in Goethestraße. Their groups initially separated, but police said the 22-year-old then sought another confrontation in Thamsbrücker Straße. There, he allegedly threatened the 30-year-old with the machete and pursued him. The group around the 30-year-old fled via Kleinspehnstraße. Officers later found the 22-year-old, took him to the police station for further measures and seized the machete.
