Man points folding knife toward group in Bad Kissingen

A previously unknown woman and a 37-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute on Hemmerichstraße in Bad Kissingen at about 4:25 p.m. on 29 July. A group of five noticed the confrontation and intervened. The man then drew a folding knife and held it in the direction of the group. He subsequently left by bicycle but was arrested near the former indoor swimming pool after police received a detailed description. The man had a heavily bleeding cut on his forearm, which investigators believed at the time he had inflicted on himself when falling onto a liquor bottle. He was taken to hospital, and police opened investigations including on suspicion of making threats.
