Man threatens resident with knife in Bad Homburg
A dispute between two residents escalated on Tuesday evening at an accommodation facility on Usinger Weg in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe. A 42-year-old suspect threatened a 40-year-old resident and stabbed the resident's apartment door several times with a knife, causing property damage. The two men had no direct contact at that point.
When police arrived at about 20:50, the suspect was standing outside the building with the knife. After officers warned that they could use a conducted energy device and firearms, he put the knife down and was arrested without resistance. While in custody, he injured himself by striking his head against a wall, received hospital treatment, and was then returned to custody before being released on Wednesday.
