A 24-year-old driver escaped a man who demanded her car while showing her a knife in Bad Hersfeld on the evening of Sunday, 18 October. She was still sitting in her parked car near Vitalisstraße when he knocked on the side window and threatened her with violence. At around 10:30 p.m., she managed to drive out of the parking space and leave the car park, then contacted police. Another person accompanied the man. Police are seeking witnesses, particularly the occupants of a silver car that left a nearby parking space shortly before the incident.
