Lorry driver threatens employee with kitchen knife at Bad Camberg service area

At the Bad Camberg-West service area on the A3, a 44-year-old lorry driver stole alcoholic drinks and souvenirs from a petrol station shop on 18 January. An employee confronted him, after which police arrived and initially took the man to a police station. Following the initial measures, the driver returned to his lorry. At 19:24, he returned to the petrol station and threatened the same employee who had noticed the theft with a kitchen knife. Officers located the heavily intoxicated man nearby and arrested him; after a blood sample was taken, he was held in custody to prevent further offences. Several criminal proceedings were initiated against him.
