49-year-old seriously injured in Augsburg in suspected knife attack
An unidentified man is alleged to have suddenly attacked a 49-year-old with a knife on a pavement on Ulmer Straße in Augsburg at about 19:30 on 5 December. The suspect approached the man from behind and seriously injured his legs with the knife. The victim was taken to hospital. The suspect fled in the direction of Stadtbergen, and an immediate search was unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating an attempted homicide.
