Woman seriously injured in knife attack at Augsburg accommodation
A 53-year-old woman allegedly attacked her 33-year-old fellow resident with a knife at shared accommodation in Augsburg on 22 July, seriously injuring her in the neck. A staff member and an off-duty police officer noticed the incident, helped the victim and called emergency services. The injured woman was taken to hospital after receiving treatment at the scene. The suspect was arrested there, and a detention order was executed on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm.
