Man arrested after knife attack in Apolda
A 36-year-old man was attacked with a folding knife outside a drinks market on Straße des Friedens in Apolda on 3 July. According to police, a 33-year-old man stabbed him several times, causing life-threatening injuries to his neck and shoulders. The injured man was taken to hospital and is no longer in danger of dying. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene, and the knife was found nearby. After being held in police custody, the man was taken to a prison.
