Man seriously injured with kitchen knife in Annweiler dispute
A 44-year-old woman and her 43-year-old husband became involved in a dispute at their home in Annweiler am Trifels on the evening of 28 October. The woman is alleged to have injured her husband with a kitchen knife. The seriously injured man fled to neighbours and underwent emergency surgery in hospital; police said he was not in life-threatening condition. Officers provisionally arrested the woman. A judge ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
