Man critically injured with knife in Altötting
A 22-year-old man was critically injured with a knife in Burghauser Straße in Altötting early on Sunday. Passers-by found him with stab wounds at about 2:25 a.m.; he underwent surgery in hospital and was later reported to be in stable condition. Investigators are treating the case as a suspected attempted homicide. A young adult suspect was arrested in Braunau, Austria, later that day, and a European arrest warrant was in place for his extradition to Germany.
