Man threatens two people with kitchen knife in Abstatt
A 45-year-old man allegedly threatened two men with a kitchen knife on Tuesday evening in Roßschinder street in Abstatt. The three had met there by chance, and the heavily intoxicated man had initially made incoherent remarks, police said. According to police, he issued the threat from a relatively long distance. After a witness spoke to him, the man left towards Kirschenwiesen. Officers detained him without resistance shortly afterwards and then took him to a psychiatric facility.
