Elderly woman critically injured with knife in Aachen
An 88-year-old woman was critically injured with a knife outside a hospitality venue on Krämerstraße in Aachen on 18 April. Emergency services took her to hospital.
According to the current investigation, a 56-year-old man is alleged to have injured the woman at around 22:20. Officers provisionally detained him. Criminal police are investigating attempted homicide and are seeking witnesses; before the attack, the suspect is alleged to have threatened two younger women near Katschhof.
